Instructors

Ustadah Amal Abdifatah has her bachelors in Religious Studies with a concentration on Islam. After graduating,  Ustadah Amal Abdifatah went on to pursue her passion of studying Islam traditionally by attending and graduating from Qalam Institutes Alimiyah Program in Dallas, Texas. 

She is the founder and executive director of Strive Sisterhood. A non profit organization and Islamic women’s learning center dedicated to spreading Islamic knowledge to Muslim women. 

Ustadha Faduma Warsame is a University of Minnesota alumnus with a Bachelors in English. She is a graduate of Qalam Seminary’s five-year Alimiyyah program and serves as the Assistant Director of Strive Sisterhood. Faduma works as a Research Departmental Coordinator at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research and serves as a Chaplain and Muslim Student Advisor at the University of Minnesota.
